TANZANIA: Taifa Stars Head Coach Poulsen has named the provisional squad to face Gambia in th Wol Cup Qualifier. Have a look at the Squad The players making up the squad and their respective clubs in bracket are goalkeepers Ali Mustapha (Young Africans), Aishi Manula (Azam FC) and team skipper Juma Kaseja, who is finalising plans to join DR Congo’s FC Lupopo. Defenders are Kelvin Yondani, Nadir Haroub, David Luhende (Young Africans), Shomari Kapombe (AS Cannes, France), Aggrey Morris, Erasto Nyoni (Azam) and Vincent Barnabas (Mtibwa Sugar). Midfieders are Frank Domayo, Simon Msuva, Athuman Idd, Mrisho Ngassa (Young Africans), Khamis Mcha, Salum Abubakar (Azam), Said Dilunga (Ruvu Shooting), Haruna Chanongo and Amir Kiemba (Simba). Strikers are Mbwana Samata and Thomas Ulimwengu who play for Democratic Republic of Congo’s TP Mazembe, John Boko (Azam) and Juma Liuzio of Mtibwa Sugar. Ulimwengu and Samatta will arrive in the country four days before the match per rules and regulations of the world football governing body (Fifa). The team will camp at Accommondia Hotel in Dar es Salaam for a week or so before heading to Gambia for the match set for September 7.
