TARA SHARES HER EPILEPSY STORY TO INSPIRE OTHER YOUNG PEOPLE. Hi Im Tara Sasso, Im 18 and have had my first seizure since I was shy of my first birthday they then told me I had epilepsy Ive been hospitalized 19 times and have had more seizures then could count but I dont let it stop me Im a very high level softball player I was on varsity at my high school since my freshmen year, I went to the little league World Series as a 13 year old and Im a leader /captain and the pitcher and center fielder on my travel team. If you have dreams and you want to do fulfill them dont let epilepsy stop you! Im on my way to pitch in college, even when all odds were against me! I have very supporting family and friends and I realized giving up isnt an option!!! Yea there are times when Im sick and my team knows there are days when Im going to be weaker than I should be. I go by you know your strong when being strong is the only choice you have I hope everyone with epilepsy can realize NOTHING should stop you from doing what you want. Hard work pays off even with epilepsy Im an example of that
