TAS AMR State Show has been postponed and will now be held at Longford on Sunday 25th in conjunction with the pinto show. There will be another show/fun day at my place on the 21st Dec. I will post the schedule for the 21st shortly, the schedule for the State Show will remain the same. Cathi Talbothas been lucky enough to obtain not one but TWO judges (a mini National show judge AND an International judge for the same day. So a double shot show (two judges judging at the same time) will be run alongside the Pinto show at Longford on 25th January 2015. This is an excellent chance for those with mini pintos to enter not one but three shows, and only do workouts for two. It will be similar to going to a show that has mini classes and separate breed classes. So only one show prep and thrice the fun! AMR have no regulations for the amount of horses you can hold. There is ample tie up points around the ring and on the ground within. So you don’t need to worry about the one horse one handler rule that occasionally applies to other shows. Melita Gard has spoken with their insurance brokers for the Pinto show, and she said, “ Ok just been on to our Insurance brokers Gow Gates. There is no insurance rule re how many horses a person can hold on the side of the ring as long as it is safe to do and if one gets away from anyone and due negligence can be proven then you could be sued. It may be an AHSA rule and as the Pinto Society is an affiliate we abide by their rules unless we have our own that cover the issue.”,
