TBS Fan Q: I am pregnant with my 3rd baby and love love love your site! I so wish I knew about it for my first two! I decided I would like to use a doula for this labour..... I will be using the same midwife that delivered my first two babies. I love her and we have developed a personal relationship outside of midwifery. However I decided I need more hands on labour support based on how the last two went.... very long posterior facing babies that I ended up having more interventions then I wanted. My husband is wonderful but not the best labour coach out there so we decided this is best for us. My midwife however seemed offended and a bit off set that I was going to hire one. I can understand since a doula would really render her only medically needed. I am meeting my doula on Tuesday and have a midwife appt. on Thursday.... do your followers have any suggestions on how I should navigate this situation??? #doula #midwife #birth
