TBT: It happen way back 2011, the time I got confused with the Catholic church rules and other religious community group. This is about people who joins community group and church ministry. Am still curious and have doubts with people who are joining, serving and giving out the word of God. What will be your opinion with the scenario that happen to me and was told that this was being allowed by the Law and the Catholic Church. It happen in a Barangay hearing in our village in Sun Valley, I and my father had a big fight about rights after my mom died. After the hearing, I personally asked the Barangay Personnel handling issue within the Barangay. And I was surprised with what this personnel told me (by the way, he is serving as a Lay Minister and member of Couples for Christ), that if a widow is not satisfied and happy being alone they can be in a relationship and marry again. Without respecting family values and ethics. And the Filipino tradition of the Babang Luksa is not being observe anymore. Come to think the Barangay Officials and personnel are Catholic Church active members. Now, this is the surprising part when I told him that I was a member, unit head and missionary of CFC Singles for Christ and told him I practice the values and ethics as Catholic. That personal went silent and dont know what to say. I have my beliefs in the Bible and the word of God. But what gives me doubt and curiosity are those serving in the church of God, are they worth it? The person giving the holy communion host, are they clean of any sins? Am just wanted to sharing this to all, to know the challenge Catholic baptist is having. The words and responses that are being changed which supposedly NOT. The changes there should be is the SINS of the one serving, are they worth it? Or the back of serving the church are they still doing what is not? Now, educate me. But be sure you can convince me with your comment.
