#TBT We first saw Otto on COPS facebook page and stepped in when we realized he had until that night before being euthanized. We still can not imagine what this handsome man went through before he was saved and sadly not all dogs are so lucky. 1.2 million dogs are put down yearly in the United States, this is not only because of aggression issues. Otto was extremely timid and a pit bull type so unfortunately a shelter so stocked up does not have much of a decision in his fate. We understand there is not an easy fix but there are certainly things each person can do to make an impact.
