TBT since it is graduation time I am going to share a graduation love story. read it if you want. mr. b. & I went to high school together. ALL THROUGHOUT HIGH SCHOOL we hung around with different groups. I was a cheerleader, and mr. b. well he kind of hung out with the tough kids & we all know what a chicken i am!! bawk! bawk! anyway, graduation nite my dad & mom threw me a party (well, actually it was a party for them& their friends). so a bunch of us kids left my party & went to the crows nest (a dance place). at the crows nest someone came up with the idea of going to Belle Isle to put Tide in the fountain. WOW - us 60s kids were pretty wild!! :). when I was at Belle Isle I was standing there shivering. mr. b. came up to me and asked if I wanted to put his (seersucker) jacket on. I said yes (awwww). when it was time to leave I asked him if he wanted to come back to my house for a bite to eat. he said wont your parents be mad? I said NO, my parents will be passed out! (& they were!) after he had something to eat he left and asked me for my phone number. and as the old saying goes the rest is history... thank YOU, LORD for graduation night 1968...
