TC Dantzler - With TC’s permission I want to provide an update. I have had an opportunity to visit him three times since he was admitted to the hospital. Each time he has gotten stronger and more self-assured. His motor skills have been affected by the blockage. Even though he looks healthy and capable, he has had difficulty with balance and needs to relearn/practice some basic daily activities that we take for granted. His days are been filled with rehab & rest. In addition, he has had the hiccups since he was admitted to the hospital. They finally subsided this past Friday. Having the hiccups for an hour seems like a day, imagine having them for that long and how draining that must be. In discussion with TC he mentioned the overwhelming phone calls, text messages and voicemails that he’s received. He is very grateful for anyone that has contacted him and he apologizes for not getting back with you. He also mentioned he’s getting such a great response because how much people love him and care for him. I can vouch for his inability to connect with anyone outside of his family due to his rigorous schedule and the energy it takes to complete things we take for granted. If he is not gotten back with you he apologizes and is grateful for your inquiry about his well-being. He has so many great friends I hope this reaches many of them. He is expected to make a full recovery he just needs time. I have known TC since we were in high school and he is accepting this challenge the same as he has with the rest of his life, smart, calculated, with hard work and thankfulness.
