TC West played Midland Dow tonight in Regionals. The match was Legendary and went all five games. Every West player was phenomenal and played their hearts out! Coach Emily somehow brought her team back after a miserable loss in game three. She did something magical and West rallied in game four to a 25 to 6 victory! They were neck in neck throughout game 5 which is only played to 15 points. Around the time it was 12 to 12 Mattison Mokanyk (setter) elevated for a jump-set BUT she turned and killed the ball instead! It was a spectacular kill and it turned the tide of the game. Midland knew the end was near. West won the fifth game 15 to 13. Olivia, Abryanna, Katie, Maggie, Mattison and Ally all kicked butt! Many skeptics didnt believe in TC West because they only played easy teams during the normal season. Well Midland Dow is no joke! They had four monster six-footers that could put the ball through the floor. BUT they werent used to hitting against freshman ABRYANNA, the blocking machine, along with monster blockers Mattison, Katie and Olivia! Now the skeptics have to rethink their opinions of the TC West varsity volleyball team. Tonight they proved they can run with the big dogs and rip their heads off like the Titans they are. Boom! See ya Thursday in Mt Pleasant for Regional Finals. PS - TC West volleyball is by far the most winning program in all of TC. Yet only a handful of fans were at the match tonight? I thought TC had legendary community support? Whats up with that yall? Get off your asses and support YOUR TC West Titan volleyball team!
