TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin is quickly gaining momentum as a darkhorse Heisman candidate as the Horned Frogs currently stand at 6-1 and No. 7 in the first College Football Playoff rankings. But after hearing from the WVU defense this week, facing a player like Boykin will not be any sort of revelation. In fact, the Mountaineers believe theyve faced enough quarterbacks like him this season to prepare for his dual-threat capabilities. Instead, WVU junior safety Karl Joseph flipped the conversation to his side of the ball, where he believes the Mountaineers are still not being highly regarded as a defense to be reckoned with. “We feel like we still dont get enough respect on the defensive side.
