TD Daily Word: Everything you do to or for another person, you’re doing it to or for yourself. So remember the Golden Rule and treat others as you would want to be treated. Your separation from others is based on your ego. Your ego needs to be right, which means if others disagree, they’re wrong. Your ego needs to be better, which means if others are not better, then they are not as good as you. Ego needs to be either your way or the highway, which basically means if others choose another way, they’re wrong. In order to progress on the spiritual path, you need to work on ridding yourself of ego and begin treating others as an equal, not better than you or worse than you, but the same as you. And be tolerant toward others to let them decide for themselves what is best for them, and you be able to accept it.
