TEA AND SYMPATHY AT WOOLMERS ESTATE, LONGFORD Most afternoon tea offerings are pleasant affairs, but very little unusual occurs. The exception is the Afternoon Tea at Woolmers Estate. After a delicious afternoon tea, see the special Exhibition of Quilts commemorating the famous Rajah Quilt, created by convict women while they were being transported on the convict ship Rajah in 1841. Four convict women from the Rajah were assigned to Woolmers Estate. The afternoon finishes with a very moving video presentation titled “Wrapped in Guilt”, the story of the Rajah women at Woolmers Estate, narrated by Robyn Moore. Time: 3pm When: Fri. Sat. Sun.
