TEAM AIDEN UPDATE: So this is just a video for you guys. The awesome thing about being on the CPAP is that you can actually here him cry (no, they werent hurting him, he just hates being woken up). But everything is going good with him, all of his tests this morning perfect considering we had a pretty eventful night where he had to be reminded a few times that hes breathing on his own. Today though hes been doing fantastic after he finally got the hang of things, enjoyed a good 2 hours of being held and upstated a majority of the time. Theyre increasing his feedings drastically now so that in a few days they can completely stop his ivs and are adding formula to the milk so that he has some extra calories in there as well. We were also told that bottle feedings can start as soon as he is switched to the nasal canula which is really good. Its back to the waiting game once again and hoping that he does well on the CPAP this time. Ill be spending a few days at home again before the onslaught of visitors start coming in to get a little break and take a little admin time to get some things done back in Jacksonville but Ill be calling at least once a day to make sure hes doing ok and Ill be back there on Sunday morning.
