TEAM CARP COUTURE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME ITS LATEST LADY MEMBER TO THE TEAM.... JADE HARDY..... I started carp fishing in November last year mainly on runs waters bagging small carp over and over getting used to it, it was alot of fun but I began to feel like I was ready to go after carp that were a bit bigger.. I went to taswood lakes and had a 14lb mirror.. I was over the moon, and when I went back a second time I beat it with a 16lb common.. I then started to think of a lake that had 30lb+ carp in to give me a challenge. I heard alot about Weybread Pits and was told not to go on no1 pit as it would be too difficult for me and id blank.. my first session I did blank aside from some bream! I wasnt going to let the lake defeat me so I went back, bagging a 27lb and 31lb mirror.. beating my pb twice in the same weekend. Third weekend there and I have another 30lber.. both of which are new 30s so I got the pleasure of naming them (five scale and jades mirror) I get alot of abuse and negativity from anglers for being a female (man only sport apparently?) But that only encourages me to get on the bank more!!
