TEAM GIDGET: PART 2…more to come Meet Pam…. We’ve had our keen eye on getting Pam to come across and join our business since mid 2014 as we knew the calibre of team member we’d be gaining. So when Pam joined Gidget at the beginning of 2015, she became a very important and first new member of our larger team. Pam’s decades of experience in product management and stock control means we have an expert on board who can deal directly with all our suppliers, ordering components and products, monitoring product quality, managing, maintaining and forecasting stock levels. With a list of over 200 different components and products in every Gidget (there are 750 stainless steel screws per camper alone) and these products coming from all around the world this is an important and valuable role for our business. Pam will deal with international freight forwarding and local suppliers. Good thing she also has a lifelong background building and growing relationships with manufacturers, distributors and key stakeholders from large companies to small specialist suppliers. Before leaving to join Gidget, Pam was with a national company for 15 years and during that time as Area Manger received four Employee awards among many other awards, including state awards, for her high level achievements....no wonder we wanted her for our team. Pam’s roles over the years have involved a high level of customer service and care, and that generosity and going the extra mile for people isn’t limited to her professional life. The fact that she is a fantastic cook and often uses her famous generosity to bake amazing cakes for any special occasion is a big bonus for us. Pam and her husband Wayne, have a classic car and enjoy going to classic and hot rod car events so her love for all things retro and things of beauty built to last is a perfect match for Gidget.
