TEAM INDIA REGISTERS A HISTORIC VICTORY AT THE LORDS AFTER 28 YEARS BY 95 RUNS. The Victory came very dramatically as none other than Lord Jadeja ran out none other than Anderson which lead to England being all out. From Day 1, match was quite balanced but in the last 2 days India clearly had an edge. Ajinkya Rahane scored a sensational 103 to take Indias 1st inns score high up. Ballance did disturb our balance but Bhuvi with a 6 wicket haul controlled the situation. Murali Vijay missed his Ton by 5 runs but his, Pujaras, Bhuvis & Jadejas contribution was immense. India was all out on 342 & England required 319 to win. On the 4th day, India picked up 4 wickets at Stumps which lead to India having more chances of winning. Finally today, on the 5th day there was a time when ball was in Englands court but it was ISHANT SHARMA who took 7 wickets conceding 74 runs & who lead India back to the pavilion after the glorious win. I hope this spell would silence the criticism he received from his critics last year. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is playing tremendously well in this series. Has scored 3 Fifties till now & has bowled equally well. A marvellous all round performance from his side. Virat Kohli is proving to be a disappointment in this crucial series, his highest being 25. He is recovering criticism But he is a man who does not tolerate negative comments for a long time & surely he will be back with a bang in the next. So, in 16 matches at lords, India had just 1 victory in 1986 & today we have attained a remarkable win. INDIA IS AHEAD BY 1-0 IN THE PATAUDI CUP.
