TEAM TRAVIS UPDATE : Travis and I got home this evening from Houston. It was a long day but a good one!! Travis bloodwork was very good! His oncologist said his cancer marker was still 0 for which we are so thankful. He also felt that he would not need to have the bone marrow test tomorrow since his levels were not concerning and for us to talk to the leukemia doctor to confirm. He also said he doesnt need to see him for 2 months when he will have scans then determine if and when he will have his first surgery to remove benign tumors in his stomach. That was very good news. Also, the doctor said based on how bad Travis cancer was when he first saw him, it was a miracle to have such great results. That was the first time he has said anything like that. Even his doctor was excited for us! We then saw his stem cell doctor (2 hrs after his appt time) & he also said he didnt think he needed the bone marrow test either and that he was very pleased with his progress and would see him in 2 months! After getting his meds refilled we were happily on our way home! I give ALL the honor and glory to the Lord for Travis treatments and full recovery! I never gave up hope that he could be cancer free, but didnt know if we would get this news from where he was 15 months ago.
