TEAMThe GlamorousMagazine® DENZEL WASHINGTON DOES A MEAN IMPRESSION TO JAY-Z AT QUEEN LATIFAHS SHOW We all know that Denzel Washington is one of the greatest actors of all-time but we didn’t know that he was such a good impersonator. The two-time Academy Award winner made an appearance on The Queen Latifah Show to promote his new film The Equalizer. Washington recalls being in the studio with Lenny Kravitz and Jay-Z, when the rapper offered to play him one of his new tracks. Jay Z said, “Yeah, D, I’ma play this for you, D,’” Washington said, with a spot-on impression of Jay’s voice. “It was ‘Change Clothes.’ He’s like, so what’d you think, D?’ I was like, ‘Play that again.’ He was so nonchalant with it.” The actor also revealed a connection with another hip-hop star. Washington says he grew up with rapper Ludacris’ father — Wayne Bridges. The two won a talented show together at the Boys and Girls Club playing The Beatles.
