TEARS OF STRUGGLE The celebration of shame all across the federal republic send spine down my cord,Hot tear married my face because the irrevocable loss and unforggetable sorrow which has enveloped the leadership of NANS both in the past and recently called for a sobber reflection and curiosity Alas! Our gallant, uncompromising, confident and radical comrades had left us behind without alert . We can never compare our todays struggle with that our Heroes past. I hereby humbly dedicated today independence day to the fallen HEROES ( students activists) in Nigeria: tear roll down my cheeks when I remember late Moses Osakede NANS president,George Iwilade Africa former OAU gen sec, Kunle adepeju a radical comrade from UI,Ojo akintunde Unilag,Sotayo Azeez Fed poly Ilaro,Azeez lawal fagbocious UI,Donald onakwuga Senate president,Humble TJ fashina of TASUED,Ibraheem Olaide hybrolad of AAP poly,Com ibile NANS national Vp, Aromasodun rasak TASCE, those who lost their lifes in OOU communal crisis in 2005,over 42 students mascared by Boko Haram at Federal college of Agriculture Yobe If luxurious lifestyle is your pride as a Comrade its a pity you have derailed because none of the aforementioned names died in their bedrooms, some were killed by oppressors, some were consumed by fatal motor accident during course of vigorious agitation for Students independence, liberation, emancipation, empowerement that begets our todays stability and recognition. Thy labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain. Fellow compatriot the missing link is now obvious Must we romance oppessors to quench the thirsty pocket of ours? Must we sell out our birth right all because of stipends? Must we betray the struggle due to personal aggrandizement and caprices. We are suffering and smiling None of us remember that what we sow shall we reap! My prayer is simple say this after me "IF I EVER BETRAY NIGERIAN STUDENTS may posterity judge me judiciously and may the souls of our fallen heroes got me haunted in my dream but if I never betray the struggle prosperity upon progressivity shall be my portion. Can someone type Amen. We all know the truth but we remain adamant because of personal vendata Rest in perfect peace our fallen heroes One day Nigeria will be a better place for all Some comrades still believe in your dreams Some comrades still follow your footsteps We kept hope alive for this significant moment Yours in struggle NANS CHAIRMAN OGUN STATE. No retreat No surrender. Impossibility is dead
