TEARY WORLD Many times I hear of young girls raped, Fighting for justice that is so elusive, With no one to fight for her rights, Her quest for justice brought to a halt, With stolen innocence and dignity gone, Nowhere to turn some commit suicide, While other lives with pain so strong. In the dark corner I hear a crying soul, Sobbing the night away in the dark, With stabbing pain of an abused girl, For years a person so close to her, Night after night going through horror, Threatened never to talk she is terrified, While deep down she is dying in silence. Many young girls turned to disabled, With grueling tales of abusing fathers, Grand fathers taking their innocence away, From their tender age they are abused, Step fathers and close family members, Abusing them in pretence of loving them, While taking them through a stabbing pain. If we don’t fight this war it will fight us, If we don’t defeat rape it will defeat us, When we turn to wolves our girls will fear, This world will turn to a dark cage, A cage of crying wolves in the night, While our girls will have a teary world, A world which threatens their existence.
