TECH TIP: Remember, when you change any front suspension component - TopicsExpress

TECH TIP: Remember, when you change any front suspension component (i.e. control arms, steering linkage) your wheel alignment needs to be checked. In addition, anytime you change your ride height (i.e. raise or lower your vehicle), alignment angles are affected, so a complete wheel alignment should be performed to ensure even tire wear. Too much negative camber is usually associated with creating a lower-than-stock ride height and this will result in excessive inner tire wear. Too much positive camber is usually a result of a higher-than-stock ride height and will result in excessive outer tire wear. These issues are easily avoidable with a simple alignment check after every adjustment. If you have any questions, contact us at 800-721-7761.
