JOB DESCRIPTION As a Junior Technical Support Engineer, you are a member of the Technical Support team providing support services for all EastNets solutions to EastNets customers worldwide. You will report to the Technical Support Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You analyse, investigate and reproduce customer issues. You assist with defining answers and solutions to the customer. You maintain knowledge of EastNets solutions (software and documentation). You maintain contact with key customers to build a good customer–supplier relationship. You assist in maintaining an overview of all delivered products and services per customer. You assist in testing and validating release updates and patches. You assist in defining and coordinating communication to customers on release updates and patches. You assist in maintaining the operational support environment (documentation, case tracking tool, test environments...) REQUIREMENTS Experience IT background Experience in Support or Development or QA environments. Exposure to financial applications, including SWIFT is a benefit. Technical Knowledge of UNIX and Windows server environments. Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server). Notions of quality assurance concepts. Good analytical skills, an eye for quality and a strong customer focus. Able to quickly grasp technical concepts. Self motivated, with an eagerness to learn new skills and applications. Self-confident and outgoing. Good communicator and team player. Willingness to travel occasionally. Good spoken and written English. Good spoken and written French.
