TECHNO NEVER WENT FOR IT TO BE COMING BACK! Ok so 2015 has started and i keep hearing everyone saying Techno is coming back, or its the year of Techno, but i keep thinking, did Techno ever leave? Im pretty sure it didnt, since day 1 Techno has been as prominent as ever. I just think all thats happening now is that all these people that were thinning Deep house was cool are going to jump bandwagon and start saying they like techno, and there will be a whole host of bad techno tracks being released because everyone wants to make it. as i was saying to my friend Lxem, to me there are only 2 types of music in this scene, good and bad! Thats it! And all of it is either HOUSE or TECHNO, I dont believe in sub genres, deep house, tech house, dub techno, its stupid tagging things, but techno never went to be coming back! ignore those that try to pin names to things, fads come and go but house and techno is always here. ANYWAY, please keep sending me all your demos and unsigned material as i start up my Radio show again this month and for the segment UNSIGNED TALENT i need to receive material to choose from, the email address is [email protected] also, i now have somebody downloading all the promos for me weekly and giving them to me to check when Im on flights, so i WILL be checking every single one, before i was doing it myself and wasnt able to check them properly, but now i can, so please send me whatever you have, HOUSE + TECHNO, all of it, as i play anything that is good, Ive never been one to stick to 1 type of house or techno, if its good, its good and ill play it :) happy new year all * TONIGHT if you are in Belfast in playing at Thompsons in Belfast, hope to see some of you Northern Irish people there :)
