This class will get you back into the groove and will give you the chance to release the stress of “not knowing what to expect.” Familiarize yourself with the director Hanna Satterlee’s teaching style, and introduce yourself before the audition process begins. Please pre-register. Intermediate-advanced dancers. Must be in 9-12 grade. Teen Jazz Audition!!! Thursday September 5th 5-7pm. Registration begins at 4:30pm. Wear comfortable dance clothes and bare feet. Students must be in grades 9-12, and be currently enrolled in a high school program. The selection committee will be looking for students with dance and performing potential, who are willing to work hard, and want to make a large commitment to dance. Auditioning students will be judged on style, performance, technique/body awareness, rhythm and musicality, and the ability to both learn, as well as create choreography. Once chosen, students will be required to attend Monday Technique and Company classes from 3:45-6:15pm and Thursday Teen Jazz rehearsal from 5-7pm, weekly.
