TEN ARE ARRESTED IN THE KURDISH-IRANIAN CITY OF MARIVAN, AFTER IRI POLICE CRACKED DOWN ON RESIDENTS DEMONSTRATING ON THE STREETS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE RESIDENTS OF KOBANI, SYRIA WHO ARE BESIEGED BY ISIS (REPORT BELOW) HRANA News Agency – Marivan and Mahabad residents had a demonstration in support of the Kobani (the besieged Kurdish city in Syria). The gathering in Marivan turned violent with the intervention of police and at least ten people were arrested. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on September 8th hundreds of residents of Mahabad and Marivan, Kurdish cities in Iran, had a peaceful demonstration in support and solidarity with Kobani, the Kurdish city in Syria that is the scene of a full-scale war. Following the involvement of Police forces in Marivan, the rally turned violent and at least ten people were arrested. There have been several protests in recent days held around the country in solidarity with the Kobani. This is a video report of the gathering....
