TEST THE SPIRITS! 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, The faith that confesses that God has become man is of God. 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. And every faith that does not confess that Jesus Christ has become man is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist. 4 You are of God, little children and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. You are of God because Christ who is in you is greater than Satan who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. By this we know that we abide in Christ because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. We testify that the Father has sent His Son to save the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 20 If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him; that he who loves God must love his brother also. 1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is the begotten. Everyone who believes God ought also to believe Him who is the begotten. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. 4 Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the son of God. He who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God overcomes the world. 11 And this is the testimony; that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. God has given us eternal life. This eternal life is in Jesus Christ. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 2:23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
