TESTIMONY - Yesterday my cousin gave a church member a compliment in my presence and I made a comment about myself regarding something I don’t like. The Holy Spirit convicted me because I shouldn’t be stating what I don’t like about myself right after a compliment was given to someone else. I had a “Who cares” moment. But I also had a revelation - I can truly say I love myself! There are a few things I don’t like, but overall I am truly grateful for everything about me. God has used my pain, my flaws, my past, my sin and a host of other things to get me to where I need to be for now. I’m still an imperfect work in progress that He loves, understands and forgives. But I just wanted to share because ALL negativity must flee. I have so many other things that I do like and love that I can’t continue to dwell on the things I don’t. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer” - Psalms 19:14 Please forgive me Betti R.
