*TESTIMONY* FB, Im sitting here THINKING AND THANKING GOD for the spiritual and natural lineage God has given me. My grandfather (on my mothers side) was a Pastor. My family (also on my mothers side) is full of singers and musicians. My family on my dads side is full of inventors and musicians. Then, spiritually I was thinking about how every phase of ministry I have been through so far has helped and edified me in some certain area. I learned a STRONG prayer life and making melody in my heart with hymns and spiritual songs in the Baptist Church as a little boy! I will NEVER regret those roots either! Then, when our Baptist Church transitioned to The Full Gospel Baptist Church, my spiritual life intensified! We were (as Presiding Bishop Paul Morton called us) Baptists with a Pentecostal experience... we call it now Bapti-costals... Lol! In the Full Gospel Baptist Church, is where I learned how to worship intimately and exercise spiritual gifts! I have had the privilege of singing for 6 years (when I was a child) in the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship Mass Choir while on the stage with William Murphy, The William Brothers, Darryl Coley, and others... Then, at the age of 12 the LORD lead my grandmother and I to the Apostolic Faith Church. There I was given the opportunity to mature in and exercise my calling to preach! There I was introduced to the FULL REVELATION of Jesus Christ and His SAVING NAME, and there I also PERSONALLY received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirt gives utterance! I had been around it in the Full Gospel Baptist Church, but I tapped into it for MYSELF in the Apostolic Faith Church. Due to family situations, I had to move to Lexington, TN. At the age of 16, and there I united with a Full Gospel Church (which was associated with The Word Of Faith movement) where I also learned FAITH, how to walk in it, how to speak things into existence, how to walk in divine healing, and so many other powerful aspects of spiritual living! This circle introduced me to powerful and anointed Evangelists and Prophets... I was also introduced to those that walked in the same circle with Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Jesse Duplantis, I.V. Hilliard, Bill Winston, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Dr. Norvel Hayes, Dr. Elaine Holmer, and many more! It was a joy to travel with my church in Lexington and sit under the anointing and teaching of these dynamic people!!! Then @ age 18, I united with a Charismatic And non denominational Church that introduced me to the freedom and liberality of worshipping and serving GOD! There, GOD broke barriers of man made legalism and religion and doctrines of men and gave me a GRACE CONSCIOUSNESS and not a LAW CONSCIOUSNESS. SERVING GOD OUT OF LOVE, NOT FEAR AND CONDEMNATION! How grateful I was for that experience as well as worshipping with different races of people in one church! By the age of 19, God was leading me to PASTOR. He lead me back to Memphis to begin this work now called Kingdom Empowerment Church... and im thankful for all the privileges life has afforded me because it has made me who I am today. I have been blessed to preach for the Baptist Church, the Methodist Church, the COGIC Church, the Apostolic Church, the Presbyterian Church and all of these experiences have been a blessing and a learning experience! God is good!!!
