TESTIMONY! Favor and increase John has been a self-employed Contractor for almost 20 years. In 2011 our business suffered in the real estate crash which started a downward spiral for our personal finances. Over a period of just two years we had lost everything we had, including two properties, one being our personal home we had built ourselves. We were devastated and desperate. In the following months God was drawing us back to him and we found ourselves back in church and living for God. God had blessed John with a good job as a lead carpenter and he found favor with his new boss. Shortly after we had decided to start tithing at our new church John received a raise! Shortly after that John starting having serious health problems. After countless Dr Appointments, research, testing, MRIs, etc. we concluded that the stress of the previous years were affecting John physically. During this time we were invited to a Heaven in Business class at Chris and Jody Trotts home. I was especially interested since I own my business and work closely with other small businesses, John was interested as well but not as much since he was now an employee and did not have big dreams or goals for business. We had time to share and pray for each other. John mentioned his situation to the others and told how his boss was starting to look to him for counsel in areas of the jobs. The group prayed that the meetings John had with his boss would cause John to be promoted like Joseph was in the Bible. Within weeks the project manager of the company was demoted and John was promoted in his place! God worked behind the scenes without us even knowing and promoted John into a position that required less physical labor and a raise! We learned in this class that we can work from a place of rest and take Gods presence with us to work. All John had to do was trust God and He did the rest. I know Johns boss saw something in him because of the place he was at in God, a place of trust, rest, and peace. To God be all the Glory and we are excited to learn more of what God has to teach us through Heaven in Business and Dreaming with God. We are excited to be dreaming again! John & Christina Tyler, CA
