TESTIMONY OF PRAYERS ANSWERED FOR A FAMILY WHO BOOKED WITH US YESTERDAY IN FAITH FOR TICKETS HOME TONIGHT LEAVING UGANDA... Please read this TESTIMONY!! THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY TO THE AIRPORT NOW!!!! In case you didnt know...GOD IS GOOD!!! Last night we went ahead and purchased our tickets by faith. This morning I emailed the embassy asking if Emmas visa was ready. Their response was it will not likely be ready today. After obsessively checking my email all day, by 3:30 I knew it wouldnt be today. At 4:05 Rashid Luswa, PhD of Logistics ran in the door saying the embassy is trying to get a hold of you! I tried calling them back...no luck. We jumped in the car at 4:10 to race to the embassy. I emailed the consular saying we were on our way. She replied that they close at 4:30. You cannot appreciate the chaos that is Kampala traffic. You dont get anywhere in under an hour. We raced through traffic and got as close as we could before hitting a jam. Rashid put me on a boda and off we went...at 4:25!!! The boda driver dropped me about 200 yards from the entrance because you cant stop in front of a US Embassy. I sprinted, praying the whole way. It was 4:45 at this point. I hollered to the guard to clear me through security and shoved my passport through the window. Breathlessly telling them I was here to get our visa. The guard said, Were closed. I pleaded with him to call the consular and tell her I was outside waiting. After 15 minutes of waiting on pins and needles, a wonderful Ugandan woman walked out the gate carrying our visa and exit documents. After bursting into tears, I hugged her and tried to listen to my instructions. The star of this show is the Lord, Himself. He showed up and showed off. Please take some time and thank Him on our behalf today. Thank you all for praying for us and our family at home all these long months.
