TESTING REALITY | Caliraya, Cavinti Laguna | May 2014 A trip to a once playground, it has been 5 years since I went back to Pagsanjan specifically the resort I spent weekends for 3 years. I took the opportunity to shoot one of the most photographed man-made structure on a man-made lake. It has been a practice ground for many aspiring landscape photographers. I wanted to shoot this place to show the Alumni and future students that you can still find a different perspective of a place and show it as something fresh. And yesterday, I was blessed to have witness an unbelievable sight. Previous shoot of this place, I was given a rainbow but yesterdays sunset light was so intense that both west and east were lighting up with auburn and red hues. A long and huge anti crepuscular ray appeared and I hurried back to a previous composition to take another shot with these conditions. While processing this I was actually having difficulty since It was quite unreal, the anti crepuscular rays were like painted brush strokes added in the photo.
