TEXAS SECURITY OFFICER SHOT TO DEATH BY ARSONISTS HOUSTON TX – A security officer was shot to death by three suspects at a north Houston apartment complex while responding to an apartment fire. According to the Houston Police Department, a security guard with SEAL Security responded to a fire at 1:30 a.m. in an apartment complex located near Casa Grande Drive and Buckle Lane. When he arrived at the scene, he approached three suspicious males walking away from the fire. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the security officer in the head, police said. The security guard was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition where he later died, police said. The suspects remain at large, police said. The men are persons of interest in the fire according to police.
