TGIF! Its time for another artist announcement! KELLY MANN! Know among horror fans and mask collectors as the Mask Doctor, Kelly has been creating horror creatures and make-up fx since the late 70s. Working in a spectrum of disciplines that have included everything from special effects technician to sculptor to mask maker, his clients have included Walt Disney Imagineering, New Line Pictures, Warner Brothers and countless others. Kelly has contributed his Emmy Award-winning talents to films like Home Alone 2, A Kiss Goodnight, Dantes Peak, Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and 4 and the cult film Amazon Women on the Moon. The Mask Doctor title came about as a result of Kellys incredible knowledge, passion and expertise in preserving collectible horror masks. We are EXTREMELY excited to make this announcement and to have such a talented and creative artist joining us for the Its Alive! Project! Kelly will be just 1 of almost 100 incredible artists who love monsters that individually be receiving a single, plain, white bust of one of horrors most iconic creations...the Bride of Frankenstein! Using their own unique talents and creativity they will unleash their imaginations and reimagine the Bride in ways that will have to be seen to be believed! In May the 80 busts and 10 full-sized statues will make their public debut! In the months following they will make a couple of more public showings. Finally, in the early fall, they will make their final stop where they will go to public auction and ANYONE will have a chance to bid and possibly win one of the truly unique and one of a kind pieces from some of the most incredibly skilled and talented artists working in the industry today! All of the proceeds from the Its Alive! Project will benefit St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital!
