TGIF! This morning Tripp completed round 5 of radiation and he has the weekend off to relax. We have 26 rounds left. So far, we havent seen many changes in Tripp as far as side effects and we hope it stays that way! Today we went to the post office to pick up his cards ( we missed yesterday) and he received so many cards today! A total of 164 to be exact! Ill be sharing the post from his cards group shortly. The plan from here on out is that Tripp will receive his next 26 rounds of radiation and then have 4 weeks off (during which time we hope we can take his make a wish trip to Florida). After the 4 weeks, he will receive an MRI to check the status of his 3 tumors and then we will proceed with his 5-drug-therapy chemotherapy. His chemo will last for a year, but it will not be everyday. I will fill you in more on his chemo as it gets closer. For now, enjoy the pictures of my little superhero. He truly is amazing with how well he handles his stressful little life. ❤️
