THANK THE DANQUAH INSTITUTE FOR A SERVICE TO GHANAINS....... Ever since the supreme court judgement, I have not heard even one NDC lawyer who has dedicated himself to explain to Ghanians the content of the 596 page judgement and what the Justices actually said...the NDC folks will prefer illiterate Ghanians who just go by the word WE WON...and like Zombies they go to bed......... We have to thank the Danquah Institute for organizing the symposium and letting concern citizens of Ghana/lawyers diagnose and inform ordinary Ghanaian what the Justices actually say in their judgement........informing Ghanians is the best way to clear doubts from peoples mind and to not engage in violence.........The reality is that the supreme court failed Ghanians......not for dismissing the petition, but for abandoning the constitution and used their own discretion to make judgement.... Like Justice Atuguba said on page 40 of the judgement "“For starters I would state that the Judiciary in Ghana, like its counter parts in other jurisdictions, does not readily invalidate a public election but often strives in the public interest, to sustain it.”...... That is why I agree with Dr Ampaw that Justice Atuguba had already made up his mind even before the trial began and so could not be bothered about the evidence adduced at the trial........and I also agree that, this was a very unfortunate statement which should not have come from a Supreme Court Judge....he should be sacked..
