THANK YOU ALL!!!! Its a great feeling knowing these cowards are outed and running scared. Ross Loraine, left, and Matt Denny posted disgusting remarks on social media in the aftermath of the bin lorry tragedyRoss Loraine, left, and Matt Denny posted disgusting remarks on social media in the aftermath of the bin lorry tragedy VILE trolls sparked outrage with a series of twisted jokes and comments about the Queen Street tragedy. The scumbags spouted their bile on social media as decent-minded people in Glasgow, Scotland and across the UK mourned the dead. Matt Denny posted about the “elaborate skittle show” in Glasgow on Facebook just minutes after news of the tragedy broke on Monday. He added that after the crash and last year’s Clutha helicopter accident, next year the city would be hit by a “tsunami”. One of Denny’s 600 friends shared the posts, sparking a flurry of criticism. Last night, Denny, of Ormiston, East Lothian, tried to defend himself – by claiming his comments were tame compared to what he’d said previously The 41-year-old said: “I think I’ve put worse up before but this is the one which seems to have caused most offence. “My sense of humour has been misconstrued. If I knew it would it was going to be this much hassle, it wouldn’t have happened. I thought it was amusing. I have a warped sense of humour. I’m a sick puppy.” Denny claimed he was on a website called Sickipedia, which features bad taste gags. He said: “People were leaving jokes about a lorry crash in Glasgow. I went to my news feed and found out there had been this accident. Matt Denny was the author of a number of perverted comments posted to his FacebookMatt Denny was the author of a number of perverted comments posted to his Facebook “The jokes I put up were copied and pasted from Sickipedia. They weren’t my jokes.” Asked by a Record reporter to find them on the website, Denny was unable to and claimed they had been deleted. He said: “I didn’t know there was fatalities. The skittles reference was because of people running away. I didn’t think people would take offence.” He went on: “Im very sorry for the loss of life. I totally regret what I did. I fully admit it was in bad taste. “In the past, I’ve made jokes about an arson attack on a dog home in Manchester and one or two people were upset. I made jokes about the Holocaust and no one gave a monkeys. They take offence about animals but not the Holocaust. I couldnt get my head around that.” Whining Denny said he had received “abusive” messages, including death threats. He said: “I deleted it all as soon as I started getting messages. I thought maybe I had gone too far.” Denny added: “My philosophy is if I can make one person laugh, my job’s done for the day. My thinking behind it was shock value. It’s my personality.” Matt Dennys sick Facebook trolling from Monday Matt Dennys sick Facebook trolling from Monday Denny said he had suffered a brain injury two years ago. He added: “I’m not making excuses but I was left with no impulse filter. I don’t engage brain before I engage mouth.” There were other trolls. Ross Loraine wrote: “So a bin lorry has crashed into 100 people in Glasgow eh, probably the most trash it’s ever picked up in one day that.” The 19-year-old deleted his Twitter account minutes after posting his comment amid outrage from hundreds of social media users. When the post went viral as other users made an effort to name and shame Loraine, of Sunderland, he gave himself up to police. He was arrested on suspicion of making a malicious communication and was bailed pending further inquiries. Another degenerate, Ricky Clobb, posted: “Hope the driver wasn’t the same guy who was flying that helicopter last year.” And he spouted bigoted filth such as: “It’s a pity victims were not wearing Celtic tops, that way you could say the driver really was taking out the trash lol” Sick Facebook postings on a site called God Hates Scotland which makes fun of the George Square bin lorry tragedy among other things.Sick Facebook postings on a site called God Hates Scotland which makes fun of the George Square bin lorry tragedy among other things. A sicko set up a Facebook page called “God Hates Scotland” with lines including: “5 million retarded Scots and you’re crying cos 6 die.. Grow up ffs, it’s not like they were important or famous. Western Africa lose 6 people per min to Ebola or Aids”. Despite hundreds of protests from shocked members of the public, the rants continued. Posts included: “I like helicopters. I like rubbish trucks. They don’t have wings. These are two of my favourite things.” Hundreds of users contacted Facebook to remove the page but, initially, they said it did not violate their community guidelines and refused to take it down. They only removed it when police asked them to. Police Scotland said last night: “We are investigating several reports of offensive postings on social media and are specifically taking action against three individuals. “Police Scotland will continue to monitor social media and anyone found posting offensive or inappropriate comments will be investigated.”
