THANK YOU EVERYONE Being close to wild wildlife has always been my passion, Its when I am truly imersed in nature that I can forget all the stress in life and see the world as it was meant to be pure, unspoiled and honest. Black bears hold a very special place in my heart. I spend countless hours around them and what they have given back to me just cannot be measured. Taking photos is a very very small bonus as the true reward is far more personal. This month marks a 1 year aniversery since Bear Witness Images was created. I never in my wildest dreams would believe I would have received so much support . I want to take a moment to thank EVERYONE for all your likes,shares , compliments support and friendships. Within a year, close 200 images have sold across the planet. I am truly blessed. It was only a couple years ago I decided I wanted to learn how to use a camera. One day I saw that a professional wildlife photographer Nathan Lovas offered one on one photography lessons. I contacted him and asked if he would be able to teach a guy with zero tech skills, and knew only how to to take pics in auto mode . Nate took on the challenge and I cant be more grateful to a great friend and mentor . Thank you to my good friend Rune Gundmundsen for the never ending help and advise with equipment . A special thank you to Lorna Kology for her friendship and special framing and matting skills you can make even terrible images look great!! To Tammy & Dan at Naturally North is n Spooner for taking me into your gallery and giving me a start . There are far to many people that that helped me to mention by name but you know who you are and Thank you so much . I can not thank my wife Vicki enough for all of her support and understanding . All the evenings I chose to spend in a forest, a swamp, or a creekside, usually covered in mosquitos instead of a nice dinner and evening together . A very special thank you to all of you that purchased prints , it is an incredible honor that you would display one of my images in your home.
