THANK YOU EVERYONE, who took the time to join our Reunion Committee this morning at EatN Park. We were pleasantly surprised by a visit from Vivian Svokas Dunn and her soon to be sister-in-law, Welcome!! Also in attendance were; Barbara Pritchard, Willadene Kennedy, Kathy Richmond Barth and Bill, Donna Bo Rodgers Wasik, Georgette Gordon, Mickey Fulmer and myself. We had a very productive meeting, after reviewing the minutes of our last meeting, we updated a few addresses some additions were made, A list for our Classmates Memorial was requested so Georgette can get the new Memorial started, An upcoming Poker Run has been scheduled for June 8th and that work has begun, the possibility of a couple Euchre tournaments are a definite possibility due to the time commitment that a weekly Bike Night/Euchre tournament would require during the summer. Barbara Pritchard showed the group the tentative save the date card which was extremely well done. Barg will check the cost and possibility of Newbroughs donating the post cards. Joe Magnone called to verify the 50/50 tickets which are in print, the drawing will be Saturday, May 24th, Memorial Day Weekend. The drawing will be based on the PA. nightly 3 digit drawing. Everyone is encouraged to assist us in selling these to generate money for expenses. FYI: We have an account balance of 300 dollars and change starting this project. We have to make a deposit for the hall, costs associated with mailings and printing, decorations, favors and other associated expenses. So please be diligent and vigilant in assisting us to make this come together smoothly. After reviewing our options for the Reunion dinner our entree choices will be Sliced Sirloin of Beef or Raspberry Chicken with Parsley Redskin Potatoes, Amaretto-Glazed Carrots and a tossed Garden Salad, this includes fresh hearth-baked bread, whipped butter, coffee and hot tea. Cold Hors doeuvres consisting of Fresh Vegetables with dip, Fresh Fruit Platters and Assorted Cheese, Pepperoni and Crackers will be included. A Cash Bar will be set up. Any special dietary needs will be honored, just let us know and/or bar requests(beer/wine/liquor)??? A Cash Bar will be set up so please let us know in advance so we may accommodate your tastes or special requests, if possible.. Bottom line....$50.00 per person for a night of Food Fun Fellowship and DJ Chico at the mix. Right!!!! I apologize if I missed anything but WE will definitely keep you posted as we continue to meet and organize this Reunion.
