****THANK YOU**** Having been working for for the past 9 days and not having time to write and rest. I can now do so. What can I say from having received kind messages of support and feed back from people, but also the feed back of the things which could of been better for you which is important for The Roots Of Salsa. Firstly, having done The Roots Of Salsa three times it has come to a point where I have to start idea again and build it up slowly and bring something new and different . How can I top it off after last years event. Its impossible. This years event was more personal and with the artists Alain, Ileana, Misael & Suave stepping up and filling the gaps and I have to say they were all amazing and very professional in doing so by giving enjoyable and amazing workshops. For them including Javier, Joel, Enrique, Sean & Ariel to make an night that will go down as one to remember the crowd and the ambience of the Saturday night and a tribute to the great Juan Formel lead by Alain Morales.Wow I want to thank all those who came and supported this event and to those who have since day one. Your support means a lot and I am blessed you have been a part of this. Those who were in the workshops and still to this day always wanting to learn something new makes me so happy that I can provide you with these amazing artists and always bringing you new ones to appreciate and love. Like Maykel Fonts, Lien Ramos, Vicky Armenteros, Pedrito Gonzalez & Giusy Chisari, and now Alain Morales. Not forgetting the bands Son Yambu & the amazing Alexander Abreu Y Havana D Primera. Always bringing you these amazing artist for the 1st in the north of the UK! Thanks to Sean Wilson in providing the sound and KIzomba Room. Team Parranda, Eşref Parranda Ulaş, Loo Yeo & Gordo Magico for providing the amazing sound system for the main Cuban room all weekend and your constant support through the whole even, you guys are special hermanos. Thanks to DjVlad Nrg Cativo for also supplying the decks for the Kizomba room. Special thanks to Dj-Amos De Roover too for the sound. Plus Carline Dunn for the kind hosting duties. You all support and came to helped me when I need this most. That will never be forgotten guys! Thanks to Simon Hepburn, Lee Baker and the amazing Les Murray. You all know how much this means to me and you always support this event and I am very grateful for your support and friendship. The classes, shows and the way you made the whole crowd love you by dancing with them. The conga the animation and the way you made this night one to remember for years to come. Thank you. Javier La Rosa & Joel Verdecia Special thanks to you for making both nights to remember. Both considered has the best Cuban DJs in the Uk and now Europe is taking interest in bringing you both. You deserve all thanks without you guys this would not have been possible. Having had time to think, next year has mentioned there will be no The Roots Of Salsa but this will be back not bigger but better and new .Watch this space....... Next year in its place will be a new event that will take its place: Bar Cabana Presents......... Watch this space. I am so happy with what I have seen and witnessed during my time has promoter of The Roots Of Salsa and blessed to have worked with the best in the Uk and the world.
