THANK YOU! In Mid-December I posted a story on FB about one of my mainland clients – a brand-new Catholic preschool/kindergarten school for homeless kids in an affluent area. My client’s intent was to bring homeless kids from a nearby inner city and provide them a first-class start to their education. The problem was they opened the school and nobody – not ONE student – came! As their grant writer, I felt I was too close to the problem and needed other perspectives. Many of you sent me great suggestions, which I passed on to their board. As a result of those suggestions – and others -- yesterday they sent me a copy of their “re-branding campaign.” They even changed the NAME of the school to make their mission very, very clear. And they plan to pursue many of suggestions offered. Special thanks to each of you that took the time to help us!
