THANK YOU RUDD! People do religion a disservice when they distort it to hurt other people - they take messages of love and faith in humanity and mutilate them for their own hateful means - it makes me sick! Even as an atheist I count the core teachings of Jesus as generally wonderful laws to live by: "Love one another as I have loved you" means that you should treat other human beings as you would your very saviour and it really moves me to see someone like Rudd (who is a very religious man) stand up to one of his own and call them out for their distortion of the gospel. My two cents. (There may have been a tear or two when I watched this video - I have a very emotional response to passion!)
