THANK YOU! THANK YOU to the HUNDREDS of people who sent warm, loving wishes to my Mother during her emergency brain surgery. The procedure was a huge success! My mother has been alert, walking and talking, with improved speech and motor skills. I now have TWO parents in the hospital, but I am very grateful for the time I have with my family. Now the planning has begun to engage all my beloved friends in the New Orleans and Pensacola areas to offer their assistance wherever possible. There are a lot of appointments and daily chores that neither of my parents will be able to do themselves. In an effort to minimize stress on them, I have put together a budget to maintain their needs, as my father is still in queue for a liver transplant, and my mother is recovering as well.
