THANK YOU Thank you to everyone that attended the Follow Up meeting at the West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre tonight. The audience was not as large as the meeting last month but what we lacked in numbers we made up for in quality. The reports from the Police, the Council, and the Families and Childrens Department were explicit, clear and factual. Everyone was then able to speak, from the heart, and were heard. The panel were able to respond to each question asked. We will be posting a report - hopefully tomorrow - so that you are all aware of the main points and can keep up to date. We would draw your attention to the initiative #StrongerNorth - this will be posted very regularly - probably once weekly - and keep you up-to-date on what is being done in our area. If you dont have a Twitter account you can Google it! We also asked those present to sign up if they wanted to volunteer to be a member of the Community Council or if they wanted to be involved in any projects, events or actions we can take. There will be a separate post about this - again, hopefully, tomorrow. Please feel free to message us with anything you would like to raise - we are always wanting to hear from you and if we dont have he answers - we know a man who can!
