THANKFUL is the way that I end the month of October, and in honor of Breast Cancer awareness, I have to share MY TESTIMONY again. Be Blessed... It is true that EARLY DETECTION is key. I discovered a small lump through self-examination and because of my family history I went to the doctor to have it checked. Sure enough, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer in January 2010. I went through two surgeries, months of chemotherapy, lost ALL MY HAIR, and then months of radiation therapy. But God HEALED my BODY and I am now 3 YRS CANCER FREE!!! I thank God for all of the Love and Support that I continue to receive from my family, friends, and the prayer warriors that He has sent into my life. I give Him all the HONOR, PRAISE, AND GLORY because not only am I a SURVIVOR, but he also has HEALED my mother (a 2 TIME SURVIVOR)-Mrs. Blanche Hamlett. I give honor to my Grandmother Gertie Williams (R.I.P.), who lost her battle in 1996. And to all of those who have loved ones due to the disease. May God bless their souls. Im GRATEFUL for everyday that I am still here to share my story with someone. I thank God for His Grace and Mercy in my life. My battle with cancer drew me closer to Him; it helped me to discover my TRUE PURPOSE in Christ. ***Ladies, please take this a reminder to do your self-checks and to get your annual mammograms. Early detection and proper treatment SAVES LIVES!!! Most importantly, please know that God is still working MIRACLES everyday!!! Confess Him...Accept Him...Believe Him...Trust Him...Have Faith...He loves you !!! :) I will continue to pray for all of you-my FB Family, as you pray for me too. I Love you ALL... Be Blessed :)
