THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE OVERWHELMING SUPPORT ... NOW ITS YOUR TURN! NLM Volunteers in Leh have given all their energy, time and even money to bring this historic change in the way elections are conducted in Ladakh and in India. But change is always resisted and takes some time unless there is a pressure built up from all quarters. So now it’s your turn to do a little bit. Just a little bit! YOUTH MEETS TO SUPPORT THE KARZOO DECLARATION It would be very timely if Students Unions in different cities along with NLM regional chapters organize a student’s meets preferably on Friday the 21st, afternoon. In this meeting you could discuss the issue of mal-practices during elections and collect signatures to support the Karzoo Declaration. This will add to the signature campaign that has started in the remotest villages during the NLM campaign. The signatures will be collected on rolls of cotton cloth (thaan) and displayed to show public support for the Karzoo Declaration. CALL AND SMS OUR LEADERS AND APPEAL TO HONOUR THE KARZOO DECLARATION In a few hours we will give the mobile phone numbers of all the MLA candidates and the Presidents of all political parties here on NLM FB Group. You can play a very important role in this campaign no matter where you are sitting by making a phone call to the leaders and requesting them to honour the Karzoo Declaration. Dont think I am just one person, I dont matter! YOU DO MATTER!
