THANKS TO ALL OUR SLFL VOLUNTEERS WHO WORKED ON THE 4TH! WE WERE THE BEST VOLUNTEERS, EVER!!!! Slidell Heritage Festival THANK YOU! To our Slidell Heritage Festival nonprofit supporters - THANK YOU so very much for your participation in this year’s SLIDELL HERITAGE FESTIVAL!!!!!Your volunteers did a wonderful job, and we couldn’t have done it without you! My personal thanks you and your awesome group of volunteers that helped with the festival in so many ways. You can rightfully be proud of what has been given back to our community as a result of those efforts – a first class event for Slidell, an opportunity to work hand in hand with each other, and especially the funds that will be donated to our community nonprofits as a result of the festival. Invitations will be going out shortly, if they have not already, for our Rotary Club meeting August 27th for the distribution of funds. That’s always one of our favorite days, and makes all of our hard work on the 4th worth every minute of it. I have enjoyed working with you all this year, and ask that you express my appreciation to your organization and all of those who worked with us! I do have one more request from you: On August 20th, the SHF board will have our final wrapup meeting. We always like to look at ways we can make improve the festival at that meeting. We would appreciate any suggestions or input that you might have for us prior to that meeting. You can send them to me by replying to this e-mail.
