THANKS TO PAF PILOTS AND MAINTENANCE CREW At this time of year, the 220th Airlift Wing of the Philippine Air Force sees to it that their pilots and maintenance crew work doubly hard to keep the PAFs workhorse, the C-130 Hercules, and other airlift assets, the F-27 Fokker and N-22 Nomad, flying in order to perform R and R (Rest and Recreation) flights to transport troops and military dependents to different locations in the country and reunite soldiers with their families in time for Christmas and New Year holidays. Also, the 220th AW airlift assets and other aircraft such as UH-1H and W-3 Sokol helicopters continued delivery of relief goods to Samar, other areas in Visayas and Bicol region affected by Typhoon Ruby which made a landfall over Eastern Samar last December 6, 2014. For their hard work, they deserve a pat on the back.
