THANKSGIVING IN THAILAND - hello all my friends and relatives. I just want to wish you the very best of Thanksgiving Days. Now I do not believe in Thanksgiving as a Pilgrim Holiday - myth of Pilgrims kindness to American Natives (Indians) - but as a Family Holiday, I am all for it. Now it is possible to buy turkey meat in Thailand, but to buy a whole turkey you have to be in Bangkok and they import them from Australia so they are very expensive. I just went to the local Hot Pot buffet restaurant down at the Home Pro store in Chaiyaphum. No turkey, but plenty of fish, seafood, fruit, vegetables, sushi, salad, and of course - ice cream !!!! I enjoyed myself and did not eat any dinner that night and only a light breakfast the next day. Too bad, no turkey leftover sandwiches to enjoy - so you enjoy them for me.
