THANKSGIVING SERVICE UNDERGOING IN GOSPEL RAMAH CHURCH BY PASTOR GHISLAIN LUKUNKU (Day 2) Theme: ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE We ought to be people of thanksgiving so that we may not kill our story with God. For human it is difficult to tell someone to say thank you when you do something to them, but God, because he does it well, he gives an order for us to say thank you, because it is so important to Him. Psalm 50:23 Thanksgiving are actions of Grace. In the new covenant, the favor of God is based on all our works. There are all sort of our sacrifices: time, energy, sacrifice of our good, our money. Where there is our treasure is our heart. We give tithe in recognition to the thanksgiving. Elijah was sent to eat the food of the widow who was preparing herself to die in 24h. The widow was given an order to receive a revelation. Dont be happy if you do not get a revelation to pose an act. Sometimes God does not ask you to pose an act, simply because you are rebelious. But when you are in the sphere to be asked to pose an act, it simply means that you are alive. The Thanksgiving helps your story not to die. It is a lifestyle of not becoming familiar with things that God has done. The spiritual memory is not received in a automatic way. By spending time in prayer, the goodness of God start appearing in our memory and we start thanking God, simply because it is not our memory but a visibility of whatthe devil is trying to kill in your history because the devil is trying to make your history zero. You cannot call God my God if you do not have an history with God. You must unveiled hidden corners of what the Lord has done for you. The devil want to kill your history to sabotage your present because the present is from the reservoir of what God has done for you in the present. When you praise him, you realise that God has known you lately while He knew you from start, and he made your history. When you save your history and do not allow any details to be erased. Joseph was sold like a package, in contradiction with everything that God intended. If he only left that night cover his past, he wouldnt master the present. He mastered the present. Many dont master the present, but the present is well mastered only when the past is well protected. Many people bury their talent under the power of their ambitions. You need to make of your present something passionate, strong. Sometimes some presents are poisining because we leave sometimes in contradiction of what we were told. A contradicted present is filled with poverty, sicknesses, lack and so on. Abraham had a bad present but he believed against all hope in that contradicted present. What helped Abraham and Joseph to make their present exciting was history with God. Consequence, there was a new Joseph developing the business of someone else. You can only increase when you develop your environment. If you do not you become selfish. People died with their selfish development, but Joseph developed for someone else, the prison, the government in Egypt. God is honored by sacrifice of Thanksgiving. If we do our thanksgiving to protect the past, the history, The second thing that thanksgiving does, it gives us a different spirit, a new way of living, a new lifestyle that honor God. Numbers 14:23 different spirit. Numbers 14:11 God is reminding them of everything that he has done. God is claiming them because everythin He did is a construction material. The miracle is the revelation of the greatness of God in our lives. In spite of all our testimonies, Men will never appreciate the greatness of everything that God has done in our lives. There are people who receive a small miracle yet having a great revelation with God, while others, God does great miracle yet having a weak revelation with God. A small miracle can bring a great revelation. The power(greatness) of miracle is in the relationship you have with God within the revelation that you have from Him.
