THANKSGIVING WEEK MONDAY Bring out Simply The Best! Beyoncé this ... Beyoncé that ... Beyoncé is the best? Are you kidding me? While I like and respect her, lets pay homage to the real Queen tonight. Many singers sang with better voices, but nobody sang with such passion, grit and soul. My favorite female singer, Janis Joplin, actually feared (being better than her) one female artist only. This is also the artist Janis studied the most closely. With good reason. Her band was as tight as could possibly be (Thanks, Ike!). Her background singers were very awesome too (Thanks, Ike!). Their costumes and choreography were totally dynamite (Thanks, Ike!). Notice that the ladies dance in high heels too! Finally, she was a Victorias Secret Angel years before such a thing was even thought of. Hottest lady entertainer in the business in her time, STILL jamming and is the role model the younger ladies in the business (like Ms. Knowles) should study and pay homage to.
